Listen to Ralph Ovadal, pastor of Pilgrims Covenant Church (Monroe, Wisconsin) as he narrates the main text at the beginning of this blog – 'Why This Blog.'
We are heartened by our good brother's support for this venture.
We first heard about your "Doing Something More For God" campaign from Pastor Ralph Ovadal two nights ago, on April 9. We are on the email list of The Pilgrim Covenant Church, Monroe, WI and receive "The Heart Of The Matter" audio clips every Friday night.
We have no church here in Columbus, Ohio, but consider ourselves to be members of the FPC, visiting many congregations every LORD's Day throughout the whole world via Sermonaudio broadcasts.
We saw your promo DVD last night on Sermonaudio and praise God for His answering our prayers - for Revival, for men and women and children to rise up and spread The Gospel in our day and for the Spirit of The Living God to move as He did in 1859.
Here are some questions for you: 1. How may we contribute? We heard you speak about the estimated costs of this undertaking. 2. As Americans, we are wondering whether or not an effort is underway in North America. 3. Can a fund be set-up through Sermonaudio for donors throughout the whole world to make contributions immediately and contimually?
In closing, may I tell you that, by God's mercy, I am an hymnwriter endeavoring to stem the tide of ungodly music in the church in our day. I presented an hymn to Dr. Paisley through Steven Lee of Sermonaudio.com - the title: LORD, Bring Revival! This composition of mine is arranged for choir voices with a piano accompaniment. It was inspired by the preaching of Dr. Paisley on the subject of The Great Ulster Revival of 1859. The music was over-delivery sent to Steven Lee of Sermonaudio on March 11 and it was handed to Dr. Paisley on the evening of March 18 at the prayer meeting in Greenville, SC.
Dr. Paisley was visiting Bob Jones and stopped in at Dr. Cairns church. Steven Lee of Sermonaudio was kind enough to give my music to Dr. Paisley personally.
I would ask that, if this music could be published and sold, all the proceeds could go toward the campaign. I have a PDF file that can immediately be sent to you. I freely give you and any others permission to print, copy, even to sell my music, hoping that it can be sung this year in revival meetings. Please contact me concerning all this requests.
We will continue to pray and LORD! BRING REVIVAL!!
I was heartened by your comments. Such aspirations and charity as conveyed in your comments are what all true Christians should seek to copy. Is there anywhere on the internet where the music and lyrics can be obtained?
I really appreciate your kind comments. Re some of the questions you ask: 1. Some overseas donations have been made through Paypal; 2. I don't know of a similar campaign in our American churches (though they are taking copies of the Gospel of John to several key US cities); 3. I realise that many people have reservations about using Paypal. I never have encountered any problems with it (and I use it regularly each month), but I am advised that it represents the most cost-effective way of transferring money from US, etc., to UK.
Please do send a copy of your music through to me - I'd love to see it!

Every blessing - and many thanks for your interest in this campaign!
